ABC WOOD, o.s.

The Wood-Furninture Cluster was established 20.6.2007. At the present time it has 14 members. The members of the cluster are companies working in a wide spectrum of activities from forestry and wood production to the manufacture of wood based products (plywood, batten boards, windows, doors) and furniture manufacture (office, kitchen, upholstery, etc.) and the design and execution of entire wooden buildings and interiors. The cluster partners are Tomas Bata University in Zlín and the Zlín Regional Government.

The vision and mission of the cluster is the connection of the entire value chain of companies taking part in the wood and furniture industry, cooperation during the establishment of socially effective interests supporting growth in domestic consumption of wood products and other wood components, as an ecologically suitable and renewable raw material through the application of several rural development strategies and innovation programmes.

Plastics Cluster

The Plastics Cluster associates companies from the plastic industry and focuses on increasing the competitiveness and performance of this industry in the region. The vision of the cluster is to become the innovation centre for plastics processing in the Czech Republic. The objective of the cluster is to create a representative forum of plastics manufacturers, to set up effective networks of plastics manufacturers for the use of selected services and products and to establish a foundation for the preparation of joint development projects. The activities of the cluster are directed into 4 priority areas: presentation and marketing promotion of the cluster, development of human resources, research and development, joint purchases of products and services. The principal aim of the joint cluster project is the Plastics Industry Technical Centre, which should be a combination of a development and training centre.

Semesteb is a young, modern and dynamic company that operates in the field of renewable energies offering the following services: Design of photovoltaic plants with a great power; Care of authorizations necessary to build and connect the plants; Turnkey realization of photovoltaic plants with a great power; Care of management and maintenance of the plants; Distribution of components and products for the realization of photovoltaic plants.
